Helen and Robert have reached the halfway mark of their ambitious 600 km cycling journey through the picturesque Saône and Rhône valleys in eastern France. This endeavor aims to raise funds for Parish Nursing Ministries UK and Cancer Support in France.
Building on the success of their 2018 cycling expedition—from Hendaye to Roscoff covering 1,200 km and raising £3,000—the duo embarked on this new adventure with upgraded bikes and a renewed commitment to environmental sustainability. Opting to leave the car behind, they chose train travel to their starting point and plan to do the same upon their return, minimizing their carbon footprint. They are halway through their journey and are currently at L'île Des Papes.
They are documenting their journey on their blog, which you can read here. If you would like to support them in raising vital funds for PNMUK and Cancer Support, visit their JustGiving page here.
