What is a Parish Nurse?
Parish Nurses are Registered Nurses, employed through a local church or Christian organisation. They promote health through health education, advice and spiritual care, to people of all faiths or none.
Parish nurses serve as an additional layer of support for individuals and communities, offering holistic care that encompasses physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Parish Nursing Ministries UK stands as the only body in the UK where Registered Nurses can attain certification in Parish Nursing. Once established, PNMUK extends continuous professional guidance to Parish Nurses, whether on a part-time, full-time, paid, or volunteer basis.
